Join us for a day focused on realizing the truth of our interconnectedness and the ways it supports our innate ability to care for ourselves and others with compassion and wisdom.
Morning Session: with Grace Damman & Fu Schroeder
2 extraordinary women—both fiercely determined to continue to living meaningful lives on the path of Zen in the roles of caregiver and care receiver — will provide an intimate look into the many layers of physical, psychological and spiritual healing that they have practiced with while caring for one another over the past 4 years.
Afternoon Session: with Linda Ruth Cutts & Jennifer Block
Through meditation, Zen teachings, and guided exercises, we will consider how to balance the gift of giving and/or or receiving with the suffering that can come with these. We will also reflect upon how the profound spiritual gifts of giving and receiving can enliven us and bring us into deeper connection with our Buddha nature.
Fee: $80; $72 current SF Zen Center members; $64 limited income. Includes lunch.
